Call yourself an Expert :o)
I am now in Week 6 of John Thornhill’s Internet Marketing Masterclass of 36 weeks duration . I hope I get a diploma to hang on the wall :o) By the end of the Masterclass, each student will have created their own Internet product and will be marketing it. Will I be an expert Internet Marketer by then? Well, I expect I’ll know a lot more than I know now. I’ve already got this blog up and running, and that’s more result than I have achieved in 3 years chasing my tail on the internet. Well I am an expert on that at least
)
My own product? Trepidation! A fancy word for Fear ! The Fear Factor ! Feel the Fear and do it anyway. To take a leaf out of John’s latest blogpost you or I should not be afraid to put a high value on the stuff we know. In the same way that we are confident when we give advice to our children, or clients in our business, or younger colleagues, we should be aware that potential customers for our knowledge are searching on the Internet for information 24/7.
Each of us is full of pent-up Intellectual Capital. Our experience and knowledge from thousands of hours of living. To quote Henry Ford “One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.” And guess what, if there is anything more you need to know, you’re on the internet, and you can find another expert to help you.
So go on, Call Yourself An Expert, and then call yourself An Expert
Hi John,
I was unable to get in on the webinar so I’m listening to it now. You had great questions! I just wanted to tell you that
I’m still deciding on what I’m an expert at.
Gayla
Thanks for your thumbs-up on webinar – it’s weird hearing my own voice but a great thrill to think that my blog page was sitting in front of such an esteemed audience from around the world for a good half-hour, exposure you can’t buy, especially with one of my favourite serious topics sitting in the background – monetary system reform. I had a look at your blog and it seems you’re an expert at ‘bleach-blot’ art interpretation, also what about your blue/gold macaw 28 years of caring, that takes a bird expert I would have thought!
) ciao jj
Hi jj,
Interesting how you look at yourself the same as i, but let me assure you jj at the end of this course you will be an internet marketing samurai, just the same as me, John Thornhill is going to see to that !
Keep up the great work fab blog TTFN….Ed.
Thanks Ed, for your encouraging words. C u on the beaches, as they always say. CFN (ciao f’now) jj
Hi John,
Awesome blog entry! Yep … the fear factor. Yet I believe (with no equivocation) that once we have created ONE product, we will have the ‘aha’ moment and everything will be eas(ier) from that moment on forward. John Thornhill will lead the way, I am certain of it
Keep up the great work, and I am looking forward to have all of us meet at the other end!

Thanks Svenja, yes I am further down the track of personal empowerment on the net, than ever before, and I want to stay on the path. need to keep the light in front of us. cheers John
Thanks John great post. Strong words with full meaning. As fear goes I feel I am not at all scared of anything but have the habit of ‘well let’s wait and see’ I was told many years ago ‘If you think it-just do it! If you fail doing it then at least you tried, If you don’t do it then you have the rest of your life to regret it!’ It’s taken me getting to 51 yrs old before grabbing the bull by it’s horns and seriously knuckling down to improve on what’s been a pretty average life, I AM determined for success..Nothing is going to deter me, with Johns great tuition I really believe we are on our way up. Keep up the fantastic blogging!!!
Thanks Keith, you’ve got 8 years on me, so 51 looks like a pretty good place, all the best. John
